Why I Created Solo Per Noi
The first time I set foot in Italy I was twenty-four years old. I had never been before.
And yet the moment I arrived, I felt something I had no words for — only the quiet, certain feeling of being exactly where I was supposed to be.
That was thirty-seven years ago. I have been going back ever since.
Italy is like my second home. The yin to my American yang.
The place where my mind gets blown open by beauty, where strangers become friends. Where something in me comes alive in a way that Boston — as much as I love it and consider it my first home— simply cannot replicate that feeling I get almost daily.
I built Solo Per Noi to share that feeling. Not the sights. Not the highlights. That feeling.
I am still learning , every road, every name, every door. And this time , I want to bring you with me.
